Slow progress, but moving forward.
There's been a lot of activity around the cabin, but not a lot to actually take pictures of.
I've insulated all the cpvc piping in the floor. This is not required by code since the floor will be insulated, but the extra protection from freezing temperatures is never a bad idea.
Jason stained the exterior of the house and it looks great. The fascia and posts will be done a darker color when he gets a chance to come back and finish. The decking boards on the front and back porch will have to wait until they've dried out completely.
I used a Cabot semi transparent deck and siding stain that has good penetration and the tint will help protect from UV damage. The color is Cavalry.
Gerald and Cameron insulated the walls and ceiling. Jonathan Hutchison hooked up the final components of the HVAC, and it is now very comfortable inside.
James Carver did an excellent job on the drywall in the closets and bathroom. I've decided to do the bedroom walls in drywall as well so minimize cost and break up the amount of wood on the interior.
